Charlotte Barbara Kozlowski 97, died August 20, 2016 at Heritage Village in Gerry, NY. Formerly of Cherry Creek, NY
She was born June 16, 1919 in Buffalo, NY the daughter to the late Frank and Estelle (Stachowski) Czechowski. Where she attended St. Bernard Catholic Parochial School and then South Park High School.
During WWII she worked at Curtiss Wright, where she also played baseball for the Curtiss Wright Girls Team. Later on she owned and operated Skillcraft for 40 years then she was a general laborer for Cherry Creek Woodcraft, where she worked for 20 years, retiring in 2002. She love playing card, woodworking and most of all baseball and often talked about playing baseball with her brother, Charlotte played baseball any chance she got. She enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, being outdoors, enjoyed being with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, her son Allen L. Kozlowski and her daughter Bonnie L Herrington, Four sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by granddaughters, Barbara (Donald) Blair of Cherry Creek, NY, Debi Giambruno of Releigh, NC and Kimberly (Michael) Guzliec, of Fredonia, NY. 6 Great grandchildren and 14 Great Great grandchildren and one sister Regina “Peggy"Aaberg
Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio-Hills Funeral Chapel 478 Route 83 at Balcom Corners, South Dayton Friday from 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM where a service will be held Saturday at 11AM.
